HP G72 Laptop

All,

I'm about at my witts end with this one.. it was brought to me because there was no video being displayed not even a back light and when plugging into an external monitor it still did not display anything.

Week later now I have replaced the motherboard and now it will come on the power light comes on and the wifi light is on and there is light on the monitor but it will will not post any other suggestions you all may have for me?

Here's what i have tried..

1)Replaced the motherboard.
2)Started it with no batter just the plug after discharging for 60 seconds this is how i got the video back
3)Tried booting with no memory it will flash and let me know it doesnt have any
4) Tried each memory stick one at a time in each of the slots no avail
5) Tried booting without the harddrive and i get the same solution
6)Plugged the harddrive into an external drive and it pops right up on my pc and i can see the data..
What the heck else could it be lol

Yes the screen comes in an displays I can see the backlight on and it's lot up just nothing to display on it

It got dropped...
It got wet...
It got left in the car and the inside got over 150F and baked the crystals making up the screen or baked the whole thing...
An old boss left his in his van one time. It hit 105F that day. An educated guess says it hit over 150F in his van. Baked the screen and the battery. It would come up on the power brick but the screen was solid black.

The backlight is on with the screen though would that be on if it was dead..
