I got a 128gig SSD for my OS drive. I was sitting here thinking about what software I want to install on it besides the OS. I'll have my Office 2013 on it unless it can be diverted to install on another drive.
But the big thing that has me concerned is the log files windows keeps. Event files they're referred to. They do consume some space if you don't keep them cleaned out.
Being no newbie to SSD technology but a first time user of the device, it does have a limited life span that I would like to avoid accelerating. I feel if the event log could be diverted to another drive or just have it save fault events instead of the mundane housekeeping events, it would be helpful.
Big question is how?
