I read on guidingtech(dot)com that using the OSK will prevent a key-logger from capturing your keystrokes when browsing shared folders.

Does the same rule apply when surfing the internet and are there any programs that can intercept that data i.e Wireshark? :hide:

You just gave me an idea.

I know a USB key-logger wouldn't work on me since my physical security is top-notch, lol, but I'm going to figure out if I can implant a detection system in my registry to refuse any USB device. I'm aware of the section that stores all info on all USB devices every connected, i'm going to start there. I'm also going to use the OSK to see if anything gets captured.

Also, i'm going to download some key-logging software and use the OSK to see if it captures it as well.

I was getting bored but know I have a new project :)

I don't remember if it was Security Now or Tech News Today, but a few months back they discussed software that tracks the path of your mouse and how people can use that to get a general idea of where you're clicking for on-screen keyboards.
