im not to to familiar with overclocking but iv read up quiet a bit, and watched some youtube videos blah blah, so i do know more then the average person i guess you could say,
my build:
Asrock 990fx Extreme 3
Amd FX8150
asus HD7850
8gigs corsair vengance pc4-12800(1600mhz)
Kentak 850watt PSU
Custom watercooling setup
seagate barracudia 1tb 7200RPM
corsair 300r Window
im trying to squeeze every last bit of performace out of this rig, i currently have the card OC'd to 1120/1375 @ 1.228V temps were 60-62c at load and im thinking thats about the max of the card,
now im trying to move onto the CPU/RAM
Ram is currently at 9.9.9.24 1866 @ 1.5v
CPU is stock
i tried using the auto OC and got a stable 4.5Ghz on the CPU at 1.5v but i feel unsafe at that voltage level, am i correct in thinking that thats way to high? temps were about 52-55c at load and it also downclocked the ram to 800mhz
can anyone help me squeeze all i can get out of my machine?
