first a little backround-
while installing my new liquid cooling system, i trusted myself a little to much, thinking there would be no leaks, boy was i wrong, i jumped the PSU to test it so there was no power to the MB thankgod, this was 3 days ago, so the board has been out drying for 3 days, plugged everything in today and she booted!!
now the problem, when the system sprung a leak, i had my old 5870 in it, which still works, i just upgraded to a 7850, and i whiped the old drivers, i usually download the AMD auto detect from there webstie and let it do its buisness, well i tried that, and it said i have the most recent drivers already, how? this is a brand new card? and when it says what "display adapter" im using it gives me a werid number like "0x112 Cffg8" this is normally where it lists
radeon HD 5870, blah blah...
is it possible i ddnt get so lucky and fried my PCI slot? the card is working finw, but i cant install new drivers, WTF
