OK this is what the tech head reckons.

Stuffed spindle motor, and it's not spinning the disk fast enough.

Ha I got so angry at the drive, I smashed it up!

You should have seen me yelling at it and smashing it on the road.

Lucky I got a backup of SOME of my data **PEWWW**

Stripe (RAID 0) always harder to recover, I dealt with many 2-3TB drives and they seems very unreliable. I would recommend take it to local recovery shop and let them evaluate unit, cost for RAID recovery usually runs from $1500 - so do backup!

RAID reconstructor can be a tool but you have to make drive operational first.
