Will this GPU work with my current PSU?

Ive got an old Dell Dimension C521 that I'm trying to upgrade gor light/moderate gaming.

I'm looking at buying a GeForce GT 520 Graphics card, since it seems to be the best low-profile card I can find. Other than a GT 450 and a few Radeon cards (I'm going to stick with NVidia though).

My current PSU is the stock 280 W one and it says that the minimum PSU requirement is 300 W, yet it is commonly said that companies "overstate" their GPU/PSU power requirements.

I'm really looking forward to some clarification on this, and if you could recommend a more powerful low-profile GPU, that would be amazing.

Cheers,
BC

Kick up the psu to 500 watts. Actually I'd put that wreak on the far end of a rifle range and use it for target practice. I had one years ago and the only good thing that came in the kit was the monitor.
It's obsolete. Don't waste your money on it. Build one or get a better pre-built.
