New monitor?

Hey all, so I am in the market for two new monitors (for an extended desktop setup) and I was wondering what you would recommend. I have a budget of about $500 for the two combined tho I would prefer to minimise cost. I also am looking for something around the 23"/24" screen sizes. The 27" are too big in my opinion. What do u think?? Oh. I would also like to get something that uses IPS cuz those screens are just gorgeous

I have a pair of Asus 23" panels and they're great. I think they're about $200 a pop.

i have been looking at the LG IPS234V 23inch IPS monitor. which goes from umart.com.au for AU$169. what do u all think?

I've got an HP 2311x. Same price as the asus. Killer pic. VGA, HDMI, DVI-D

unfortunately i cannot get that monitor in australia.... I mean I can if i import it. but the stores that sell it here are the really small unknown ones which I do not trust... anyone have any opinions on the monitor i listed earlier in this thread?
