Lcd issue

Hi My Name is Jon.

I have an Aspire Laptop where the LCD sreeen has a purple tone, but when the lid is almost shut it goes away and the screen resumes to normal colors. Anyone know if I need to replace the LCD or if maybe it is a wiring issue

Sounds like you need to change the ribbon cable connecting the LCD to the motherboard.

That looks like it's for the card reader.

Laptop Parts - LCD Display Cables Match up the model number of the laptop.
I have not bought anything from this place and can't vouch for them. But he does have a good cross section of parts.

Bro sometimes card reader dosent work in LCD I think its an software issue

It was the lcd cable, pain in the ass to take the whole thing apart (when I finally got to it), but you gotta love a $10 dollar fix. Thanks for the help
