Ram speeds

Okay, I upgraded my RAM from 4 (2x2gb) to 8 (2x4gb).

I also went up in speed on the RAM to 1600mhz. I know my computer is not rated for that speed. I was supposed to find PC3-10600 1333mhz.

So, I installed the new RAM and it seems to be working fine, but I am wondering if it is running at peak speed.

Please look at the pics and let me know if there is something I can tweak. Is my computer already running at max speed allowable?

Thanks in adavance!

Looks to me like the memory controller operates at 1066 MT/s. You could try setting the timings in the BIOS to get the RAM to run at 1600 MT/s.

It's running in dual channel mode and according to the data in the screen shots it's at 532Mhz. That's 1064 or for round numbers 1066Mhz. Unless you have the options in the bios (which I doubt) you're stuck at whatever speed the bios sets it to.

I'm a noob, I don't know where the BIOS access is anyway. Yes, its a Fugi store bought. TY
