I tried posting this earlier but it didn't work for some reason.

I have a laptop running Win 7 64bit.

I ran the crucial.com scanner and it suggested I use

2x4GB DDR3 PC3-10600 CL9 DDR3 1333

I found some "better" RAM for a little bit cheaper

2X4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 CL9 DDR3 1600, its Crucial but its their "Vengence" line.

Can I use the PC3-12800 with no ill effects? Wont my computer use the highest allowable speed anyway (1333)???

TIA!!!
