1866 MHZ ram running at 1333MHZ? :S help?

Hi ive bought some new ram corsair Vengeance LP 8GB CML8GX3M2A1866C9R and they seem to be running at 1333HMZ instead of the 1866MHZ they are meant to be capable of. I have a foxconn A55mx mother board and a AMD A8 3870K both of which claim to support 1866mhz memory so I am somewhat confused also I don't seem to have any option in my bios in which to manually set it :S any help would be appreciated thanks

you have to tell the BIOS to run the RAM at 1866.
yeah i know it's odd that it doesn't do it by it self, but that's just how it is.

thanks for the reply, Yeah I figured that but there is literally no option to it seems and little options for anything in bios for that matter

What motherboard do you have?

is there an option for overclocking?
if not, then i am not sure what to do.

nope none what so ever comes with a utility called fox one which looks like it is used for that just none of the options are available for me
