I have been using the Yahoo Toolbar for years; suddenly when I turn-on my PC, I get a strange Toolbar powered by Bing with the address: conduit.com. It features ads and is very annoying. Where did it come from? How to delete? Thanks.

Look in your browser settings (search engines) and it may show in programs so you could uninstall.

That, and you may be able to uninstall though your control panel if you cant see them though your browser settings.

Edit: the bing tool bar was probably installed though a windows update, i have seen it lurking in the optional updates section on a few computers that i have been working on....

If you are using google chrome in the settings you will find extensions where you can add, remove or temporarily disable them.

Yahoo! Search is now merged with Bing, using Bing's search engine. Don't worry.

Microsoft released an update that put an icon on your start bar for bing in windows 7 and I thought it was stupid as I never ever use bing..
