Router Question!

The microwave is never on when this happens.

I've cornered the problem to something in my room. I was out doing homework in the kitchen and had no problems yesterday. Here are the other electronics in my room.

Xbox
Sony HDTV
Turtle Beach Wireless Headset
HP Printer
Wireless Mouse

what frequency does the wireless headset or mouse work on?

is the printer a printer that can act as a wireless hotspot to allow you to print wirelessly?

It sounds like a wireless signal range/availability/interference problem to me too - in which case any new router will probably suffer a similar fate.

If I were you I'd take $50 from your budget and by a pair of ethernet powerline adapters and then have a wired connection in your room. This will not only improve your connection stability but also give you much faster data transfers on your internal LAN.
