well i guess ill start off with my computers specs
custom build with MSI 760GM-P23(FX) mobo, Athlon II 3core 3.2ghz, 8gb RAM, Radeon HD 7770 graphics card..

when i go into my settings for 'Screen Resolution' and click 'Advanced Settings' i get these readings

Total Available Graphics Memory: 4863 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 1024 MB
System Video Memory: 0 MB
System Shared Memory: 3839 MB

I do have the on board graphics disabled in the bios.. does the system video memory matter? will it help gaming speeds if this goes up? if so, how do i get it to go up??

your system video memory is the onbored, I wouldn't even worry about that, since you have a 777, installing the latest drivers and o'c in the CCC program will provide you with better gaming performance.

System video memory is the amount of RAM the computer has dedicated to graphics.

Say you had use the onbaord graphics and didn't have the graphics card. Your readings would look similar to this:

Total Available Graphics Memory: 4863 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 0 MB
System Video Memory: 512 MB
System Shared Memory: 4351 MB

To answer your question, if you're using a dedicated graphics card, then no, system video memory does not matter.
