What kind of things will the computer be used for like gaming, photo/music/video editing eg, If you plan on running high end games it would struggle..

Not a bad choice. I'd look in to getting a better graphics card, but other than that it seems good.

I'm mainly looking to do a Minecraft Youtube series with it, also I want to be able to play some other games like Portal 2 on it. Mainly gaming. I am planning to upgrade the graphics card on it if I get the computer.

It should be fine for those things..

Minecraft is the by far the most comsuming game out there in my experience. With Notch's messy coding a horrible optimization, my computer, which has NO trouble playing Skyrim/Crysis/Battlefield 3/Hawken at 60+FPS on highest graphics settings, has trouble playing minecraft. It is the black hole of computer programs, but you might be able to run it.

Perfect, thanks. And I do know about the horrors in Minecraft, but its still addicting as hell.

I have found that Tekkit which is the cracked version of Minecraft can also be very resource hungry, I do use my laptop which isn't really designed for gaming but can run minecraft alright..
