I just picked up a new laptop at the thrift shop for a whopping $3.97. It's a compaq V6105nr and has one of the Conroe L-based celerons. Runs great too now that I installed a hard drive and some memory.

IDK, I've been trying to get all the drivers right for the past few hours. The HP/compaq site is horrible. Also I think this windows install got messed up a bit somehow. Everything I try to install is complaining about missing DLLs that it should have extracted when unpacking the installer. I'll probably use it for random web browsing, or maybe as a HTPC since it has an XP media center edition key.
And uh, that's me. I decided to do the self-pic avatar thing.
Those are 2c/2t sandy bridge processors. Not at all comparable to what I have, which is a 1c/1t Conroe L-based. It's the same architecture as the core 2 series, but pretty heavily crippled.
