I got an M700 dirt cheap and I put 4 gigs of RAM, 120 gig SSD and Windows 8 on it.
Now, everything works perfectly (even the extended battery that came with it) EXCEPT the touch screen. Now the screen works perfectly with the pen.
But after seeing this video on youtube (Toshiba Portege M700: Windows 8 - YouTube) I see that you can physically touch the screen to have it work as well.

Now when I go to control panel and Tablet PC Settings, Display says "Mobile PC Display and under details it says "Pen Support" there is no "Touch Support" listed anywhere under any of the tabs.

The exact model of this computer is the: Toshiba Portege M700-S7003X

Thanks a lot!

It's probably a driver issue. Try seeing if there are updated touch drivers for it.

I have the updated drivers but I have no clue what to update. If I try to update the display drivers (not the graphics card) it says that Windows has the most current driver already.
