Printer too slow

I have a Lexmark S815 and all of a sudden it is printing slow as in one line pause then next line... I need help??Please any suggestions

Hmm.......

Try this.

Uninstall the printer drivers on the computer, and re-install them.

Let me know how it goes.

I had the same problem with my Brother all-in-1 and I fixed it by installing updated drivers.

Most printers now have a built-in cleaning system. Try running that. Otherwise the printer could just be dying.

Have you got it on a high setting like best photo? If you have this could cause it to print slow, although reinstalling the drivers should of sorted that.

Why do people buy Lexmark? I have had nothing but incredibly bad luck with that stuff.
OK let's cut to the problem.
I have a Epson Workforce 845. When mine did that I solved the issue by changing the printer set up to buffer all the documents before starting to print. If the set up is set to send directly to the printer, it prints as fast as the data comes across. One line pause one line pause.
Be sure you have the latest drivers and go through the set up with a fine toothed comb.
