Dell Optiplex GPU question

hello ive got a 2002 dell optiplex Pentium 4 at 3.2ghz, 2 gb RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce 6200 TurboCache GP. Everything works fine, but my GPU only has 64mb of memory. I want to know how good my GPU is. Can anyone help?

Is this your main computer? It's better if your GPU has a dedicated configuration because it makes your system faster. By today's standards, it's not a great graphics card either. Depending on what kind of cards your board supports, you can get a decent upgrade, I'd say about 256-512MB the maximum? Maybe only 128MB, I'm tired and don't feel like looking things up. You most likely don't have a PCIe slot (Of any kind) so you can't go up to anything that's high-end. You also can't get a full-sized card unless you have the tower model of that Dell Optiplex. You'd have to get a smaller card.

Yes this is my main PC. IDk what dedicated configuration is, could you tell me? I looked up my GPU and even though its just a 64mb, it can support up to 256mb, so thats pretty awesome. My PC supports PCI-E GPU cards, and it is the tower model. THis PC is badass (for how old it is) except for the GPU, which i wanted to upgrade to this one here: MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1GB DDR3 Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card - Walmart.com Is it worht it, or should i get something better? My budget is 100 dollars.

i use it maily for gaming, and it runs nearly everything up to civilization 4, farcry, and minecraft (which is a surprisingly demanding game). I want to play Fallout 3, Skyrim, Black ops, and Battlefield, but idk if it will run the games
 
I understand that I need a new computer, and I had one up until last week when it crashed, and was irrepairable. I got this machine, and over 200 dollars of parts for free. I got 3 other gpus, 6 other RAM cards, 3 spare motherboards, and 5 other CPU's. But I don't have the money for a new system so ill have to make do. The age isn't whats important anyways, its the hardware, am I right? All the other GPU's are not PCI-E so they are useless to me. Could you give me suggestions for a good PCI-E GPU under 100 dollars?
 
An 11 year old machine will not have a PIC-e slot so you will not be able to use an PCI-e GPU. If you're lucky, the board may have an AGP slot. If not, you'll need a regular PCI GPU.
