Did i buy a bad psu?

I bought a Corsair TX650. But I'm starting to think it won't work on my motherboard. I have a micro ATX motherboard. And the only plug ins I can find are for the SATA ports.
 
You should have a 20 or 20+4 pin connector on your motherboard. That is what you connect your psu to using the connector from the psu.
 
this type of connector is very diffrent to a sata cable or port like Karanot said look for a 20 or 24 pin connector most mothboards now have 24 pin they used to have 20 + 4 pin on older motherboards. look for the connection type that matches the power cable.

You should consult it from any hardware engineer, he will guide you in a right way.
Or else you may find psu in markte compatible to your motherboard.
