Hi!

I have an actiontec modem/router and I would like to have an external HHD somewhere in the house that everyone can download on it and have acess to music/photos/movies!

What do I need?

Its exactly what I need.

The only problem is that I have already a WD external 1.5TB that I bought 1 month ago. The USB port in my actiontec modem/router is useless! I don't want to buy another HHD...!

Any kind of solution to use my WD external drive like the GoFlex? I know I could connect it in my laptop and share from there but I don't want to do that.

An USB hub with an ethernet port could be my solution?

It's for connecting one computer directly to the modem part. It bypasses the router.

No. The USB port on this device will allow only one Windows computer to connect via that port. It can not be used to connect a non-Windows computer, Hub, or any other USB device.
