Can anyone tell me if the following will all "fit" together. I'm building a new gaming PC for the first time and am understandably worried about something not working or communicating with the rest of the system. Any help would be awesome. Any ideas on the build is also welcomed.

Thermaltake Contac 30 Universal CPU Cooler 2011 Compatible)

Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64bit OEM

MSI N660TF2GD5OC GTX660 2GB HDMI DVI

Norton Internet Security 2013 OEM

Lite-On IHES312(BLACK) 12x BD COMBO

Sharkoon T28 ATX Midi Tower Blue USB3.0

Seagate SATA3 2TB 7200RPM Barracuda 64mb Cache

Intel CORE i7 3820/3.60GHz/10MB CACHE/LGA2011/4CORES/NO FAN

Asus P9X79 MB, Socket 2011, X79

ASUS PCE-N15 WLAN PCI-Express N300

Crucial RealSSD C400 128G SATA3 M4 Series

Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 DDR3

Antec HCG-900 900W High Current Gamer 80PLUS Bronze 135mmfan

USB Mini Bluetooth Dongle 20M

I'm purchasing all of this from Umart ( I'm in Australia).

Thanks!!!

I would go to pcpartpicker.com and enter in all the parts you have. It will tell you if they are all compatible or not.

I would go with Win7 not 8.
I would skip Norton and get a free Antivirus program (like AVG/Avast/Microsoft Security Essentials).

Hey,

Do they have links to these online at all?

It all looks compatible, but links would be more helpful.

Also your PSU is WAYYYYY overkill, your not going to need more that 450 Watts for that setup so getting a 550 or 650 half decent PSU will be perfectly fine.

Also I don't see a heatsink and fan there and just by the description of your CPU it's the OEM version so no HS&Fan.

Thanks for rpeplying, i'll look at a smaller PSU. Also i just forgot to add in the CPU cooer, so all good.
Thanks again
