A nice free simple open source file syncing tool, FreeFileSync | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net, I use this all the time when I am backing up my files, I am actually using it right now to backup files up to new portable hard drive..

A tool that I like using if I need to do a clean install of Windows 7 is Microsoft Store Online, It is very simple and easy to use, Select your ISO file or from the DVD and then the destination as to where it's going USB, DVD eg, and then click go for it to burn and it will take about 15 minutes or so to complete and then boot it up and go..

Also if you like customizing an ISO file of Windows 7 to suit your own needs http://www.rt7lite.com/rt-se7en-lite.html, You can select what features you, Add programs and it will install whilst Windows install's, It has a range of features to explore and use from Integrating programs and tweaking Windows to Customizing your logon and desktop backrounds..
