I have recently wiped out my Windows Vista on my old Dell Inspiron 530. I installed Ubuntu 10.04.4 and cannot get the wireless internet card to work and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I know it has to do with putting the correct driver software on it but I cannot seem to get it to work properly. I have already tried many ndisgtk downloads even though they are for laptops. My problem is finding the correct software or maybe finding the correct download for ndisgtk.

The card says Broadcom on it...i found the computer in my basement its pretty old had no processing system on it so i figured i would try to boot ubuntu

See I tried running Ubuntu 12.10 but the terminal won't show so it prob isn't compatible with that system I might try upgrading to an Ubuntu in the 11s

Naw I don't have a copy I was looking into getting one through torrents but I couldn't find a good copy to burn to a disc. I was really hoping to get Ubuntu to work if possible
