I have an Alienware x51 that came with an i7 3770, A non-overclockable model. I bought an i7 3770k, which can be overclocked. I installed it, along with more Memory and an after-market heatsink fan. When I boot it up, it says "No boot device available". Any suggestions as to what the problem is?

sure there is a windows OS installed on the harddrive?
if so, you might by accident have disconnected the harddrive in the upgrading process.

All I did was swap the CPU, I'm using the same hard drive that worked 20 minutes ago.. I just checked and made sure that it was connected, still no go.

but have your tried choosing what to boot from in the boot menu?
use F8 (on most motherboards) under post. (the first black screen)

that is very weird.
check if something else are disconnected, or if you are missing some jumpers. you could also try to reset the CMOS.
take out the battery and the bios battery, then hit start a couple of times and put the battery's back in.
