Graphics Card

Hi, I've always been interested in playing popular computer games, such as, world of warcraft, call of duty, etc. My computer has a hard time handling the graphics and is usually very laggy even on the lowest detail. I don't know much about computers but I guessed that it had something to do with my graphics card. I WILL LINK A PICTURE OF MY SPECS, if anyone can tell me whether or not this graphics card is capable of handling online gaming and if I should maybe buy a new one? Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you go to your Motherboard manufacturers web site and look for your model it may give you a list of Graphics Cards that are compatible, and when choosing a Graphics Card do check its power usage and your Computers power supply (PSU)

Get a Nvdia GeForce 560 ti for your needs you can't go wrong- also if you have enough expansion slots do SLI

Find out if its compatible first also there are a few variations of the 560 ti >

For most gaming SLI or Crossfire is not needed one good GPU will do the job

I can't see the image, but 560 ti is just a PCI-E x16
As long as you have that slot its going to work...

AGP is what older video cards use to use back in the day.
A slot to stick your video card in. (Accelerated Graphics Port )

You won't be able to use newer video cards with that since all of them use PCI-Express..

I could be totally wrong that "AGP Status: Enabled"" can mean something else but I doubt it...

Personally I would just start over with a new pc

AGP Texture Acceleration is process when textures are swaped from system memory (RAM ) into video memory (VRAM). This is controled by Direct3D and uses certain optimizations to remove unneeded AGP traffic and accelerate texture swaping and other data transfer. If you disable it,your graphic card will work in compatibility mode (almost the same transfer speed as PCI graphic cards). Keep it enabled all the time!
So yeah you have a AGP slot on your computer. Im sure of it.
PCI-Express is x16 of a PCI slot
AGP is x8
PCI is whatever speed that is

It was a x800 I believe or something like that. Playing a game called Joint Operations by novalogic. I was the happiest kid in the world to have such awesome graphics on my computer on a AGP
