Wanted to see if this is a good deal or not.

It's a 2010 MacBook Pro, Mac os x version 10.6.8, 2.53 ghz intel core2 duo, 4gb memory, 250 hard drive. It looks and works flawless one owner. They are askin $950. Is this a fair price?

For that price, you can get a refurbished machine directly from Apple that is going to be newer and chances are, faster and more powerful. They often have a 2011 MacBook Pro listed for $959, but sometimes it's an iMac of the same age or a MacBook Air also of the same age.

I'd rather go and look at what Apple's got for refurbished stuff. Just search 'Refurbished Mac'. They're practically brand new as people buy a brand new machine, hardly use it for a couple days or even less and then return it for whatever reason. Then Apple repairs it, cleans the hard drive and then re-list it as refurbished and at a lower price than brand-new.
