Uninstalling windows 8?

Hi there guys, long time no see! I was just wondering how someone would uninstall windows 8, on a windows 8 computer. As in it came with windows. Also, will Microsoft still continue to have windows 7? If not where can I get it, not including torrents. Thanks!

What sort of PC are you uninstalling from ?

You don't uninstall an OS. You either format the disk and install a new/different OS or you upgrade/downgrade the existing OS.

Yes not quite the right terminology (uninstalling) but if this is a touch screen systen you may loose this function.

You will have to install windows 7 and delete the partition that windows 8 was installed on and a do a clean install, remember to backup all your important data..

I havn't seen that Full format / fast format option on the windows 7 discs.. I think they got rid of that option. Pretty annoying...

I do it from another PC (with Windows 7) Windows 7 Disk Management from the Computer Management utility.

Omg, your right. Hooking the hard drive to another pc and doing it that way. I can't believe I didn't think about that.
