We presently have a 2 desktops, 2 laptops, and 1 Ipad. Also have 2 wireless printers. Most of the time there are only 2 devices connected at the same time.

One desktop is a Gateway and the other desktop is a Dell. The laptops are a Acer and a Gateway.

I have a Linksys Broadband G router and everything works GREAT. Never have to reboot the router. The computers and the router are about 4-5 years old.

I just ordered a Dell laptop and under the specifications it states Wireless N Wi-Fi.

1. Will my new computer work with my current router ?

2. If I buy a new N router could I use the new router just for my new
computer and leave the Broadband G router connected for ALL of the
other equipment ? In other words, 2 routers working at the same time.

My wife works from home for a hospital and we don't want to screw things up by having everything run thru one new router.

Thanks
