Repaired Laptop That Needed A HDD

Hi all, Just thought I would share that I had a laptops charger that blew up and thankfully the HDD was still working so I put it in the Compaq that needed a new HDD and just about reinstall Win7..

Congrats dude, nice to see hardware being recylced and not just thrown out.

Would it have not been easier to just get a new chager for the other laptop or did it fry the motherboard?

I am not sure what happened, The cord was dragged around a lot and thrown, So I thought it will cost heaps to replace it, So I will replace both HDD and charger down the track..
