Helping me build a computer?

It's a good starting point. You can upgrade the CPU and video card and have yourself a very capable machine.

+1^

Yup, can't get any cheaper than that, but like OhSnappy says, you'll be wanting a much better graphics card if you expect to play any serious games.

Don't forget the OS!

OK well how much does a monitor cost?

Any where from $89.00, to $1,200.00 literally. It all depends on size and quality.

You can buy a quality name brand TN 19" monitor for around $89.00, or an IPS 27" monitor for $800.00 or more.

Most folks today use a monitor that is around 24" in size, TN technology, and a quality name brand like Samsung, runs around $200.00 +/-.

You should go to a local store, and see what size and price works for you.

Or if you want you can go to a store near you and buy a 32in tv or something like that and hook up threw a hdmi cable.

Would it cost less if i just went to a local store and and bought the parts that are mentioned there?
