Windows Live mail - Windows 7 Home premium

I have just upgraded my netbook from Win 7 Starter to Win 7 Home Premium.

Before the ugrade I used Windows Live Mail (WLM) as my email software.

Now when I try to load WLM I get the following error message which I find (as usual) very unhelpful.

"WLM could not be started. Closing WLM. Your calendar contains corrupt data which is forcing WLM to close
0x8E5E0247"

So I am told something that I already know - WLM will not load. What I am not told is how to overcome the problem.

Any ideas as to how I correct the data in a calendar that I have never used.

Anyone recieving the 8E5E0247 Error trying to login to Windows Live Msgr and/or Windows Update who has an INTEL processor & Hard Drive over 300Gb must install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Software. This will solve your problems.

Yes - that's it. As well as upgrading to Home Premium I upgraded to a 750GB HDD

I evetualyy got round to trying the suggested solution but I am told "my computer does not reach the minimum specification for this software".

Acers One 533
Memory 2 GB
OS Windows 7 Home Premium
HDD 750 GB
Protection Kaspersky Internet Security
