How, and for what purpose will this machine be used?

If you're interested in gaming, I can tell you that HD 6870 is an aging card. It will be fine for now. However, you'll be replacing it in about a year as new games are released.

If you just want a graphics card for causal, occasional playing of mostly older games, it's fine.

I'm not mentioning the CPU or motherboard, because I am assuming you've decided to go with AMD rather than Intel.

The power supply is a very good choice as long as you're sure you'll never want to add another graphics card for Xfire. If you do, then that power supply would have to be replaced with one rated at least 850watts.

Everything else looks fine. If you can afford the few extra dollars, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck from a 240, or 256GB SSD, than you will from a 128GB, and it's only another $65.00 ~ $85.00

Well, if this is primarily for gaming, I can tell you from many years of experience, you always want to build a gaming machine, with the latest most sophisticated graphics card that you can afford.

You want to do this, because the first piece of hardware to age, and reach the end of it's useful life, is always the graphics card.
