Ram upgrading

Say that my laptop ran on hddr3 ram and i wanted to upgrade it can i use any hddr3 ram or will that not work or would it be good for the laptop

Read your users manual specific to your laptop, or go to the manufacturers website, and you'll see the specific SODIMM your notebook requires. Use only what is recommended.

Go there. They have a nice system scanner tool that will tell you exactly how much of what type of RAM your laptop supports.
