Ahh, let's see 'em!

Here's one of my favorites. I was standing about 20' from some weeds. I could barley make out what looked like some kind of bug.

I pulled the lens in real tight, and snapped the photo. Couldn't tell what I had until I got home, and saw it on the 27" monitor.

Here are 3 flower ones from just the other day. Pretty soon I'll probably go get some "fall/harvest" ones.

The first one I edited and added a splash of color. I just downloaded GIMP and a plugin called FX-Foundry and I was playing around with that. The rest are out of the camera.

Here's a nice snap. I took this at sunrise on Boynton Beach, in Florida.

Nice shot. There's a tree that stands all by itself in the middle of a field I pass all the time on my way home. More than once it was a perfect sillouette at sunset...too bad I've never remembered to take my camera with me...

Yup, that's my biggest problem as well...often forgetting the camera.

I am not into photography but my gf says I should buy a decent one. So I am buying Canon SX40 H... its cheap. Is it any good? Any good photographer here?
