Hello.
My computer freezes when I have had it shut down.
I can put the computer to sleep and it will work just fine.
I have tried to reinstall windows several times.
It only happens when it has shut down, so I have no idea what it can be.

My computer is an "Acer Aspire M5300"

What do you mean it freezes when it was shut-down. It freezes while it's shutting down? This could be the reset of some software not closing properly.

No it's not when it is shutting down.
It's if i have had it shut down over the night, when I then boot it up, it freezes randomly.

*Sorry for my poor english"

So basically anytime it's on it freezes randomly?

I bet this has little to do with you shutting it down at night and a lot more to do with hardware. Unfortunatly hardware isn't my thing, so maybe someone who knows about hardware will be willing to help.

It could be overheating/a bad cpu/a bad RAM stick/a bad Hard Drive/something faulty in Windows....like I said hopefully someone else will be able to offer more assistance.

Exactly when does it freeze? When you get to the desktop? A few minutes after booting? Hours?
