I plan on using this computer for gaming, playing, burning and editing hd videos and photoshop. Is this a good deal for $800 or should i just build a desktop?Thank you.

As a rule of thumb I'd say build it yourself if it's over £500, otherwise it's hardly worth the effort. But yes, in this case it would be better to build it yourself.

Perhaps, but the cheaper the rig, the less you're saving, and when it reaches a certain level (of cheapness) it, imo, is no longer worth it
