There is a website that offers a service for free how ever they only offer it once per household.
My question is if I use a VPN how do they still realize that I have had this before? I thought it might store some data on my pc so I ran CCleaner and it didn't help at all. So I took it to another step -> VMware.
I made a VMware installation of windows and I attempted it and on the initial attempt it worked. I had made a copy of my VMware ahead of time and I tried to do it again on the copy and this time it didn't (btw I had changed my IP again)
So I'm wondering how do they distinguish this? Is there some PC identification? What am I missing here?
