Because the the Graphics Card requires two six pins, you would know if you looked it up.

I know how important they are, since my GTX 280 requires a Six pin and an 8 pin, and it was a real mess around finding a dual molex to 8 pin adapter.

Good build should be ok - Other than Use PSU calculator and add 150w to the reccommended for future upgrades - nothing worse than spending £70 on a PSU now and £90 later when you upgrade.

Your friend can get an Unlocked Processor allowing him to get much more £ to performance. Or/and upgrade the graphics card.
