Not trying to toot my horn, but the Mac Pro is nothing compared to my dream system. Yes, I said Dream system. And it exists too!

The Mac Pro hasn't been updated in two years, so I'd hope the HP Z820 was faster.

Once Apple updates the line, they'll be comparable.

I thought it was updated recently. Apple might start using the same Dual-CPU Intel Xeons (8 Cores each) in the Mac Pro.

They updated the current model with a faster CPU from 2010. They're expected to refresh the entire line in 2013.
