Which one of these 2 builds is better?

I want a gaming desktop that is able to run all of the latest games and more advanced games that will come out in the future smoothly and efficiently (I don't want any lag in my frame rates or anything like that while i'm running my games) and was wondering which one of these builds would better meet that requirement.

Please let me know which one of these builds would be better suited for my gaming requirements or if you think neither is good feel free to suggest a whole new build that you think would be better or if you have a better alternative for just one or two parts in either of these builds just let me know which part you think would be better.

Both are great, but the second one is better. However it also looks like it might be a bit more expensive. If you wouldn't be comfortable spending that much money, then the first will still run games at nigh on the max settings.
May I ask if you'll be putting these together or if they're pre-built, and also where you're buying from?

I do plan on building it myself, but i'm a bit nervous as this will be my very first time building a desktop and I don't want to screw anything up haha. I plan on buying most if not all of my parts from newegg.ca

Well then if you can afford the second one you'll be playing games at max for a while to come, if not the first will still play all games (I think) at max as well

For the first build, I would recommend a sabertooth mobo or p8z77-v pro from Asus so that you take advantage of your full speed.

I was also nervous about like maybe breaking a pin on my CPU or something on my first. Build. However, newegg's how to build a of helps a ton. Just a word of advice, everyone probably had that feeling.
