Why not just spring for the now $800 one?
Which of these 3 similar laptops should I get?

only thing is i was considering it for $700 but wasnt even gonna buy that. So now that is $862 wasnt sure if it was worth the money. I think it should be good, im gonna look at some more laptops and see if i like anything else, if not ill just get that
would this one be a good choice as well I can get it in Canada? Would Dual core be bad for music producing? if u hit details u can see the specs($740)

That's a nice laptop.
The i5 is a good chip and should serve you well for what you want to do. Although it is a dual core, it has 4 threads thanks to hyper-threading.
