I haven't been on here in a LONG time, but felt obligated to report back with my latest rig. It's been about 5 years since I've built one from ground up again! Here's what I ended up doing:

2x eVGA Superclocked 580 GTX 1.5 GB in SLI
Antec P183 Mid ATX Case (lovely piece of art, this thing IMHO)
Logitech z5300e THX 5.1 Speakers (oldies but goodies)
Das Keyboard Professional
MX Revolution Wireless mouse (cannot believe how expensive these are now!)
MX518 for gaming sessions (another oldie but goodie)
Razer felt-like mousepad (had to use $20 of BB store credit somehow)
And, just received in the mail and set up yesterday: two Dell 2212HM IPS LED 1080P 21.5" monitors. They are so lovely.
Also, have a third Asus LED 1080P monitor in case 5760x1080 BF3 sounds like fun.
