Is it a good gaming desktop?

Well, I havin't built it yet but I have got all the parts. I'm just wondering if this is a good gaming desktop for games like, skyrim, battle field, men of war, ect. Here it is Intel i5-2500K, MSI Radeon HD 7870, Antec Three Hundred Two - System Build - PCPartPicker also I've heard that you have to pick a certain type of monitor, mouse, and keyboard depending on the build or else it won't work, is that true?

No I don't think games have anything to do with monitor, keyboard or mouse.. What matters is the appropriate configuration (eg. graphic cards) that is required for that particular game.. thats all..
