What is the best free website hosting out there? Just need it for start up for now. Also looking for a monitoring tool to see when its online and offline?

Any help would be great.

Are you looking for big free company? Or smaller people.
If you head over to webhostingtalk. look for the section for Free Hosting.
There are many people that will give host away.

Draw back is they can pull the plug at any time.
I know x10 does free hosting.

For free monitoring tool, try Pingdom. It has been around for a long time, and the support is friendly.

They have free and paid services. So you can add that one to the list to check out.
