What 7200 HDD is faster SATA 6G (1each) or SATA 3G in raid 0 (Each)

Yes I did mean a pair (2 each) in SATA 2. Interesting kind of what I was thinking.
They say SATA 6g is twice as fast but I do not belive the HDD produce the data that fast.

7200rpm, on average, equates to roughly 100mb/s.

As OhSnap said, even on the slowest form of SATA, it'd work at full potential really.

Two drives on SATA II (3GBps) would undoubtedly be quicker.

If you really want fast you need to get an SSD. No mechanical HDD is fast enough to utilize SATA to it's full potential other than in very small bursts of speed.
