Hey guys,
am doing a build in a few days, just still tossing up between a 1tb WD Caviar Green and a 1tb Seagate Barracuda.
The WD only spins at 5400rpm, but has a 64mb cache, but in comparison, the Seagate spins at 7200rpm, with only a 32mb cache.
Should i go for the higher spin rate or larger cache?

thanks guys :)

never had a seagate before, just a WD, have you ever had problems with the seagate ?
im leaning towards the WD though cause the large cache. thanks for the help mate.

I have both drives. Even though the WD has a larger cache I notice no difference in speed/performance between the two. Get whichever one is cheaper.

I would also recommend Seagate, I use them, and very reliable. Also has a higher spin rate which i think is one of the most important things, 32 isnt a bad cache to begin with either.
