Xp Installation blue screen

Hello.
I am attempting to install Windows XP Pro, SP2 onto a Toshiba Satellite L450D-113 laptop.
However, when setup tries to start Windows, I am greeted with a blue screen, with the stop code of "0X0000007B (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)".
After some searching, I have found that this is because some additional drivers are required for Windows to recognise the hard disk.
However, this laptop has been bought second hand, and I am unable to find the appropriate drivers. Also, as the machine is a laptop there is no floppy disk or A:\, as the F6 key requires.
Is there any way that I can install XP, or 2000, or even NT 4.0 with success.
Windows Vista and 7 are not appropriate for what I intend to use the computer for.

Many thanks for any help with this issue.
Dan

I think that can be solved by a simple change of a BIOS option. Sometimes you need to alter something for compatibility of an older/newer OS. Look for something relating to S-ATA or anything else that might point to compatibility relating to the HDD.

Thank you for your reply.
It was one setting in the BIOS, that I changed to compatability mode.
The installation is now currently in progress! :) Massive help.
