Free software for making copies of DVD's

I have a 9 and 12 year old daughter and tons of DVD's for them but my problem is that when they use the DVD's they scratch and ruin them. I was wandering if there was a good free online software where I would not get a virus where I could burn copies for my kids to use and put what good DVD's I have away. It gets kind of old changing out DVD's for them all the time. Thanks

I have the same problem with my kids. I wasn't able to locate any free software that would allow me to copy the DVD with perfect quality including all menu's, so I went and picked up a copy of DVDFab. If you get the 4 year license it's about $64.

in fact there IS a decent free program, I found it only when I went through about 20 websites with paid programs but I'm happy now. it's perfect. here's a website how to copy a DVD
the program is free, doesn't take much space on the hard drive and copies literally everything, haven't experienced any problems

And just FYI. You are allowed by law in this country to make one archival copy of any cd or dvd you own and have the original copy of.
